It amazing what becomes news these days. Recently, in the newpaper, "The Onion", reported a news story about a gay teen being worried he might be Christian. I personally believe there is nothing wrong being gay and having a religion. But I think this newspaper pokes fun at people being gay and having a religion.... what do you all think?

The Onion is a fake, satirist newpaper aimed at mocking everything and everyone. I agree that there is nothing wrong with being gay and having religion, and the Onion was making a point about this in their sarcastic, satiric fashion.

I love the onion, they make my day :).
I think part of the point was that you might expect the headline to run the other way, "Christian Teen Worried He Might Be Gay." And yes, the point was definitely to poke fun at what a big deal people make out of sexuality and religion- two equally valid but pretty separate parts of human life.

In my opinion Christianity's not the thing to be afraid of being here. If I were the onion I'd be afraid of being a homosexual. When you choose to get turned on by a person of the same sex then you are just sick. that's not normal. look I'm not going to sugarcoat it if you are doing that stuff then you need mental help. Christianity is not a religion either get your facts right it's a relationship with your creator
