Does God hate me now?

I am a Christian. I want to believe with all my heart that God and Jesus won't judge me becaus eof my sexuality. But...so many people say and think otherwise. And now I'm starting to wonder as well...I sometimes am on the verge of tears because of it! Please...tell me what you think. Does God hate me because I like both girls and boys?

 Look, God couldnt hate us, why would he make us with the sexuality that is proclaimed to be "Wrong" bisexuality IS FINE, and you know what? live your life without worry, if god wants to dismiss us to "hell" then it was his choice.  its ok to be bi :]

First off, a little about my background: I studied Christianity and religion intensely at Stanford University, with some of the most inspiring and knowledgeable professors (many of whom were also devout Christians) in the United States.

Based on that experience, and based on my experience attending Christian elementary, middle, and high school, I can say without a doubt: you are not judged. Being who you are is NOT a sin.

The texts and lessons that modern Christians can lean on -- namely those found in the New Testament -- make it clear that Jesus loved everyone for who they were at the core: human beings who have equal dignity and are deserving of equal respect. So, if there are folks out there who are treating you poorly, please just know inside that they are not following what their faith demands of them!

I don't understand why so many people want others to fear God. I think that a belief in God should be comforting and fulfilling, not a cause of self-hatred.
I've recommended this essay to others, and I'll pass it on to you. It's written by Rev. Mel White, and it's called What the Bible Says- And Doesn't Say- About Homosexuality. I found it to be very educational.
