In this up-coming spring, kids in Washington will be the first to take a standardized test on human sexuality, contraception and drug use. The test is a 50 question exam and the grades taking this exam will be (5, 8, and 10) grades. In the early 2009 District Study shows that nearly half the city's chlamydia and gonorrhea diagnoses were among disrict residents 15 to 19 years old. Two- thirds of all diagnoses were among those younger than 24. More than 3% of district residents older than 12 were living with HIV/ AIDS in 2009. All i can say is congrats to those kids and the district because many kids won't even have the chance to do at least that.
