Hello all,

I'm interning with the Department of Health's STD Control and Prevention, which oversees DC's ONLY totally free clinic.  I'm looking for videos that can be played in the waiting room dealing with STIs and pregnancy, and all that jazz.  I know about "Safe in the City," the CDC-endorsed 23-minute long video which has been reported as lowering STI infection rates in its viewers by as much as 10%... but we need more than one video.

Has anyone seen or heard about, or has access to any good Safer Sex or STD Prevention videos??

Thanks!!
Ravenna

I asked the head of Advocates' HIV/STI Prevention Department (Jennifer) about this and she says that not many videos are being made these days because they become dated so quickly. One company that distributes them is ETR Associates (www.etr.org), but I haven't personally seen any of these and don't know how good they are. I'm sorry I don't have better answers for you! I'm going to ask a few other people and will get back to you.
