Hi, my name's Sara and I think I'm bisexual. I'm in 8th grade and I've had a few boyfriends but in the halls I would check out girls and I thought everyone did it. I'm so scared and sometimes I wonder if it's just my hormones talking. I've recently had some dreams about one of my friends in my choir and I don't think I can look her in her face again. And I've researched what dreams like that mean on the internet and Im not sure what I am.
Yesterday I tried to talk to my mom about it but she just laughed it off as a phase and that all gays, bisexuals, etc. just took drugs all day and were wrong. I'm really scared.

Maybe you are bisexual and maybe you're not. Either way, you're normal. Just because you notice that some females are attractive and just because you dream about females doesn't mean that you are bisexual or lesbian. Maybe you are, but there's no 100% certain indicator other than your own feelings, and even those can go back and forth. It's okay to be unsure about how to label your sexuality or sexual preference. For now, I would suggest trying to forget about labels altogether. Just be you. Explore your feelings, thoughts, fantasies, and dreams. Let those lead you, rather than anyside outside pressure to be one way or another.

I understand what you are going through. I am 14 years old and a freshman in high school. I believe I am also bi, but am not 100 percent sure yet. (About 99 percent) lol. It's hard for family to disapprove, and it hurts. I was scared for a while too. i still am. but don't worry. it will get better in time :) i find alot of girls attractive, but also guys. i have had a few dreams, too. it is nothing to be nervous or ashamed of. if you needanyone to talk to, u can email me at oheather_13@yahoo.com.
