Like I said on my last post from last semester -- I am a Resident Asistant and I organize two to three programs in the semester regarding sex. This semester I did one called the Condom Olympics and another one called Sex in the Dark. In both of my programs residents had fun learning about STD's and HIV and how to protect themselves. Condoms were distributed and were highly appreciated by all of them. As expected condoms ran out in two weeks!!!! Such a big turn out. On every round I had to do after my programs I knocked on each of my resident's doors and offerend them very good, high quality condoms. They knew I was there for them if they needed protection.

All you need is either one or two professionals in the field of sex. What I did was I contacted one person from the psicology department and one from the health center. Both people sat down on a dark room and they both had flash lights. The residents prior to the program write down questions about sex... ANYTHING because it is anonymous. Super important that you say it is anonymous... That way you can also have girls asking various questions about sexuality. The professionals aided by the flash lights try to answer all the questions even if they are kinda awekward. For the second program The Condom Olympics you gotta do it as a killer to end the Fall semester cause you won´t see your freshmen anymore in the same hall. What you do is you plan three or four different mini games. And you could try involving one of your co-workers to make it bigger. It will be better if it is somebody from the opposite sex. The first mini game is called Dirty Dancing. You hook up your X box to a TV and you allow your residents to play the Dancing game with the Kinect. Here is the trick though talk with a professional on alcohol awareness and ask them to bring goggles. The second mini game is called The Broom Racing. With your box of condoms you divide your residents in two straight lines and they have to race from one side of the hallway all the way to the other side and come back. Notice that they have to put the broom between their legs and right before they race they have to open a condom and put the condom PROPERLY on the broom and THEN run. The third mini game is the Piñata!! All you want to do for this one is put inside the piñata as many cheap staff as you can get and CONDOMS. Residents take turn while being blind folded to break the Piñata and the first one who breaks it allows the rest to go like crazy and screaming for prices :)
