California is supposed to vote today regarding a petition filed by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation requiring porn industry actors to wear condoms.

This petition is ment to protect porn industry actors from STDs, according to the article there was a HIV outbreak among porn star professionals in 2004. 

I wonder what the implications of such a petition will have on the audience of porn.  If this petition passes and porn star professionals are required to wear condoms, will audience members follow suit?

I think an underground porn market will be formed in CA. Or more likely people would just buy porn from other states.
