J.Crew recently released an ad picturing a mother and son laughing together. The little boy's toe nails have been painted bright pink, which has caused quite an outrage.

The has been complaint about how by painting the boy's toenails will cause him to question his sexuality and gender identity at a later date. The little boy's mother says that the little boy's favorite color is indeed pink.

Fox news reported Keith Ablow said, "Put some money aside for psychotherapy for the kid."

It is ridiculous to think that something as innocent as nail polish will have an impact over the child's sexuality. You can not turn your children gay by painting their nails pink. Sexuality is a much deeper issue that is not easily influenced, especially by something like nail polish. If the little boy is gay, there is nothing wrong with that, or If the little boy is heterosexual who just likes to have his toe nails painted, there is nothing wrong with that either.

I am so glad that someone wrote about this! There's nothing wrong with a little boy wanting to have his toenails painted pink. It's wonderful that he can have fun like that and his mom isn't making fun of him or making him feel bad about that. He feels safe and normal, and that's exactly what he should feel.
