Some teacher asked me the other day about what I thought about 6 graders getting taught about sex I said I think young people should know about there bodies and educated subjects involving there sexual health. I said we should be able to have access to condoms and correct information. I got a group of my friends to tell him what happens when young people don’t get correct information. I am first of all a teen parent I said if I would have got correct information I would have protected myself. Young people have the power and we are the ones who are going to change the future.

Yes you are definitely right about that. I do believe that people have a right to education about their bodies. Although some may think that 6th grade is too young, there is some information out there suggesting that people this young may be having sex. Regardless its great to teach them if they are already sexually active or before.

There are some theories that people need to be taught sex ed starting at kindergarden. Now sex ed does not mean a class on intercourse, it is about your body, puberty, hygiene, pregnancy, good touch bad touch. It is about your life as a sexual person and to take care of yourself. These classes need to be age appropriate but in 6th grade is the beginning of puberty and immense changes. If you don't talk to kids then, when do you?

I think that if kids are taught about sex in 6th grade, they will grow up feeling more comfortable talking about it, and the more that we can encourage and support open, honest, and educated conversations about sex, the better off we'll be.

i say 6th graders should learn about sex becasue they start to go through puberty and they begin to have deeper feelings for people. 6th graders should learn about their bodies and what to do if they want to have sex. They should know that condoms is not the only thing that can help them from getting a std or getting pregnant.6TH GRADERS NEED SEX EDUCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
