May 27th is a commemoration day for children all over the world especially in Africa but the fact still remains that in
Imagine a country were we are looking at vision 2020 and knowing fully well that we are the future leaders of tomorrow but with all these happening to the children of the world where by a man of over 50 years getting married to a minor of below 13 years isn’t that insane? But these people are not called to order instead they are not cautioned. For a law maker who knows about the constitution of the country and who is aware of the Child Right Act still went ahead to get marry because he his above the law or may be he is not being a citizen of the country because of his wealth go ahead and marry a 13 year old girl.
Today being the 27th day of May, the children are crying out to our leaders for this act should stop because they don’t know who will be the next to be victimize and as a matter of fact they can no longer continue with their education because they are married and need to pay attention to house activities.
Let’s put a stop to all these act and safe the future of the children.
