This year we’re doing a campaign called “Year for (You)th” which is a sub product of our National Strategy for Black Gay Youth in America. Here’s an overview of what that is:
One of the ways we are accomplishing the above overview is by conducting a National Survey of black gay youth ages 26 years and younger. This survey asks ten questions that will begin to give us an idea of what it is like to grow up being black, gay, and young in today’s society. The survey is 100% anonymous asking only for your email. The reason we ask for your email is because in the future we may send out another survey with more questions to strengthen our research. The aim of Year for (You)th is to improve the quality of the lives of black gay youth living in the United States by organizing those 25 years of age and younger (alongside elected officials and youth serving agencies), who want to take part in positive activities and gain support that will improve their condition of life, to help develop and improve their physical (health), mental, emotional, social and educational well being.
