October is an exciting month here at Stetson University. The weather is starting to change, students are very excited for football season because we don’t have a team of our own, holidays are coming up which means more trips back home, and the Office of Health and Wellness is releasing its new condom mascot: Johnny the Love Glove! He will be hung up at all the places we give or sell condoms on campus to make it easier for students to find them. Some students only know some areas where condoms can be found such as our condom dispenser in Emily Hall, buying them in our C-Store (convenient shop), or waiting for the once a month health hut where our Health and Wellness interns make them available to students. We want out students to know that it is possible to get condoms for free other places on campus. We have a condom bowl in our Hollis Center and we make sure all RA’s are fully stocked. Hopefully Johnny can help us out with our campaign to promote safe sex at Stetson University!
