Ok so the Women's center on campus has yet to return my emails concerning scheduling a distribution event. One day I will find the time to actually go to their office and speak face-to-face.
Other than that, I got a great idea the other day for a subtle information event I could do on campus. I saw that for the athletic games, clubs would blow up balloons, write on them the dates and time of sports events, and then string them up all over campus. I'm thinking I can do something similar to advocate safe sex. If i can get my hands on a helium tank, I could blow up some condoms, tie them off with ribbon, write STD facts on them or just small messages advocating their use, and then in the middle of the night go out and string them up all over. Can you imagine walking to class in the morning and seeing condoms floating everywhere on your way to class?! I think it would definitly catch people's attention!
I have already began distributing to students in my residence hall. I put a small basket on my dorm room door and limit the number of condoms I put in to 5 per day. So far 5 condoms normally lasts about 2 days. All my friends want condoms, but I know that are just looking for freebies. I would rather save the condoms for people who really need them and feel trapped by their inaccessability on campus.
Thats all for now!
I'm excited for that helium tank!!!!

Still, LOVE IT!!!
