Here at Clemson University we recognize the Sexual Responsibility Week campaigned that was created by The BACCHUS Network. Since we do not have the resources (personnel, time, etc) we just focus on one day of the week to promote sexual health and relay sex positive messages.
As a student here at Clemson, I am the president of the Student Health Advisory Committee. My group acts as a liaison between the students of the university and our campus health center. Each year we host Sexual Responsibility Day where we get the opportunity to set up a table in a highly trafficked area on campus. We included condoms (both male and female), games, prizes, and brochures on abstinence, health relationships, how to use a condom, and an array of other information.
This year our Sexual Responsibility Day was held on Valentine's Day!! Below are a few pictures from the event! We gave away well over 500 condoms with both the condoms that I received from Amplify and condoms that are donated to our campus health center.
Condom Roses and Valentine's cards containing condoms and sex positive messages were handmade by myself and other members of the Student Health Advisory Committee, as well as other interns.
