Although this is my first blog all semester, I felt as though I should have waited for the semester to finish to post. When I was first chosen as a SafeSite for my campus, my friends all thought it was a joke and didn't believe me. However, when the box of condoms came, they were in total shock. I told them if they ever needed condoms not to hesitate to come to me and to tell their friends. At first, the feedback was very low and I think they were embarassed to come to me for condoms. My roomates and I even made a sign for our door to inform the floor and to have them tell their friends.

However, as the semester progressed on, I had more and more people come to me. I even had repeat visits(lol). Next week is the end of our semester and I'm going to go around to every room in my building and write a statistic on every condom. Since we have suite style residence halls, that means 4 for every room. It will be very fitting too because when people go home for break, that is when a lot of "slip ups" can happen; whether it be visiting a long distance boyfriend/girlfriend or just having a fling...mistakes happen and I want everybody to be safe over the break.
