I ran across this interesting video on Youtube, some of you may know this girl and others may identify with some of her experiences or some of the comments on her video. I found it very interesting that a lot of the people that commented on how they learned about sex reported that they learned about it from porn.
It brought back memeories to when my older brother and cousins found a box full or VCR tapes that they used to watch. On one tape there was an army movie and I remember watching it and midway through the movie it cut to recorded porn clips from a nudist colony as well as episodes of Real Sex. Since I did not have cable I had never seen anything like that before but I never forgot it and spent a lot of time trying to sneak that tape into the VCR and watch it.
I was about 10 years old when I saw this and had no idea how intrigued I would be by sex and I feel like I thought I knew a lot about the subject because I did watch these movies. Needless to say, I knew nothing about sex and only ended up living a life making poor sexual choices.
Here is the clip, in addition to being interesting it is also a good idea of a way to record your friends and families experiences and use these real live accounts to make more influence in our lobby efforts.
