As a participant of this awesome program sponsored by Advocates for Youth and Trojan, I initially found it challengingto think up creative ways to distribute the 500 condoms given to me. While some creative distrubutions are coming up this spring, I was able to use my annual Christmas Party this past weekend as a stage to distribute condoms to my colelge aged counterparts.
     For te past four years I have hosted an annual Christmas party for all of my Dallas friends. This year it was very special because all of my friends were coming back to town from different parts of the country, as we shared our experiences of our freshman year at college. They were all a little bit suprised when they found a display of condoms at the entrance of my home, and when they were informed of the program they graciously took the condoms (some took more thab others.) While who is and who isn't sexually active of my friends isn't important, it is good to know that we were able to use this opportunity with 40+ people to distribute contraceptives, and remind friends to practice safe intercourse.
