It was a day I usually look forward to every year, and this year was a nice one because I was invited for the World AIDS celebration at Chevron Nigeria Limited, arguably the biggest multi-national Oil company in Nigeria at their headquaters. It was really great knowing that the company has its own workplace policy and seeing some staff members committed to the cause by volunteering to be peer educators and counsellors, especially some managers of unit.
The day had its glamour, but for me having to see the zeal and eagerness of the management from the top brass to the last level taking part shows that it's not really a diffcult thing getting workplace policy going once we all beleive that HIV & AIDS is our business and we are taking the lead.
