Last week I got my annual physical that I am required to get for my job. But this year I decided to take my physical to the next level and get check for any STIs. Now was I scared, HECK YEA, but it was something I need to do to make sure that I was 100% clean. Now some people might say “Terrance you don’t know if you’re clean or not?” And to those people I would ask them the same question in return. We all think that STI’s can’t affect us, but the truth is they can affect anyone. STI’s do not discriminate against age, color, or gender! STI’s are like the little mucous people on the Muconex commercials; they will infect anything they can! LOL! Anyway the tests were very simple. The doctor came in and took some blood and urine samples and told me he would have the results in three days. Now I can TOTALLY understand how waiting three days for result can drive someone crazy. Now at first I was fine, but by day three I was ready for some answers! I was relieved when the doctor’s office called to tell me that they did not detect any STI’s. Now I can walk around knowing that I am 100% clean and I have the papers to prove it! LOL!
