It seems that every year there are new music artists, sports players or someone on the entertainment news that has a "rags to riches" story to tell. It can be easy, for some, to relate to their humble beginnings but a little more difficult to seriously consider being in the position of having dreams brought to fruition. Everyone does not have the same dreams of being a superstar in the media but sometimes the thought of being a business owner, activist, or obtaining higher education can seem just as far way as the bright lights of Hollywood.

For four years, I said I wanted to participate in a Spanish immersion program but was unable to for some time. Finally being able to accomplish that goal was monumental for me and I wanted to share my thoughts via video with you as I ended my month long Spanish immersion program in Costa Rica.
