- All AIDS Drug Assistance (ADAP) money will be eliminated. This means that the 2,300 people currently receiving assistance from ADAP will no longer be able to get their life-sustaining drugs AND the 145 people currently on the WAIT LIST will never receive them.
- What little is left of HIV Prevention [$200,000] money will disappear. This goes to Project FAITH (Fostering AIDS Initiatives That Heal).
- Other health care issues for the poor and disenfranchised in SC will be eliminated: breast cancer screening, kidney prevention, etc.
