Pedro Marin, state representative GA, came to Dalton, GA on March 14. He was interested in listening to a small portion of the most well known Hispanics in our area to learn about what Latino outreach programs are needed in NW Georgia. Luckily, I was invited to attend this meeting! His whole speech was in Spanish, which made him relate to us in a huge way. He mentioned he rarely got to speak Spanish anymore and he felt at home with us... After the meeting was over, he personally introduced himself to everyone. I told him what I did for teen pregnancy in the area, and he loved what I do! I got his business card and will keep in contact! :)

Great Job Karina. Pedro was a past board member of G-CAPP so he is very supportive of our work. Thank you for being a leader.
