Dear Lady Gaga,
These past few years, you have used your superstardom to advocate for several issues relating to the LGBTIQ community, such as the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell and gender neutral marriage. Now, I would like for you to consider putting your voice behind The American Equality Bill.
What better way to insure all the rights of LGBTIQ people on the homefront and to preserve and/or elevate the economic stability of the community (especially transgender people, who bear the brunt of society's ill will) than to get behind this piece of legislation, which basically is so much better than what has been proposed and tabled so many times over the years.
ENDA is weak sauce, and several spineless congresspeople have made efforts to undermine it by not making it trans inclusive. However, YOU, Lady Gaga, have the star power to push this bill through, and to guarantee that those who have gender identity disorder are given accomodations, transgender issues are address, and sexual orientation and gender identity are added to the Civil Rights Act.
This will have so much broader coverage than DADT repeal will ever have, for it will protect people here on the homefront!!!!!
Your little monster
-Jordan
