In a previous blog post, I discussed how Pennsylvania was in need of comprehensive anti-discrimination laws protecting sexual orientation and gender identity, and how HB300 could become a hot issue. But, as I watched the debate between Onorato and Corbett, no mention of LGBTIQ issues came until the final lightning round, in which moderator John Baer asked about gender neutral marriage. and we basically hear "General" Tom Corbett say that he supports a constitutional ban and Dan Obamarato saying he opposes both a constitutional ban and legalizing gender neutral marriage!!!
Now, why would they mention an issue which, unfortunately, Pennsylvania won't get to for many years over, say, an issue that is ripe and is not as controversial anymore. Did the powers that be in the debate not have their priorities straight. I WANT ANSWERS ON THIS ISSUE!!! This is a specific piece of legislation and I would like to know the candidate's opinion on said legislation and whether they will sign it or veto it.

PS: As a bonus to some members of the Amplify crowd, the issue of abortion came up. Dan Onorato has come out as pro-choice, while Tom Corbett is anti-abortion.
