I am a plus sized (trans)woman. I have had trouble with being able to find clothing that is nice, but I always manage to at least find a few nice blouses and skirts.

However, I was at Dollar General and I found the CUTEST flats. They were black and had leopard print inside. I so wanted to buy them, but when I tried them on, I came back to the reality that nobody seems to stock plus sized women's shoes.

This is outrageous and sexist; to deny women who have plus sized feet appropriate options harkens back to the belief that women should have small and dainty feet. I don't; I am a size 13-15 and I just feel that I am being left out (I usually have to end up wearing sandals a lot because of this).

Thus be it resolved that in every shoe store, department store, dollar store, etc. there should be at least one plus sized (11-17) option (preferably a black flat with no animal products). This option should be comparatively priced to other shoes of the type.

I really want my basic black flats, but I fear I may never find them.
