Today is February 7th and National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. There are many national and local resources available today (and beyond) for testing, education, and even protection...Looking for more info? Blackaidsday.org is a great place to start.
Currently, half of those who are infected with HIV are African American so it is imperative that we as a community become more open and informed about this or it may get the best of us—of those of us left. It’s serious! Granted, most on amplify are already educated on this vital information but are your family and friends?? SHARE THE WEALTH!
Educate, educate, educate because it only leads to empowerment  :)
