Reproductive health rights are categorized under human rights and therefore gained universal acceptance. The Youth without any discrimination based on sex, race, culture, religion, race, color, physical and mental capabilities are entitled to the following reproductive health rights.
- The right to get reproductive health information
- The right to get reproductive health services disregard of sex, color, residence and distance.
- The right to decide to use family planning services and to choose the methods.
- The right to get safe and reliable service.
- The right to medical and advice service
- The right to secrecy.
- The right to get service with honor, kindness and good discipline.
- The right to get reproductive health services without any restraint.
- The right to get continued service.
- The right to give comments and suggestions on the services given and to inform encountered problems to the concerned body.
- The right to choose physician (a male or female).
- The right to get reproductive services free of charge.
- The right to live in a non-polluted and suitable place.
To promote, protect and enjoy all these rights, continuous education which intends to raise the awareness level and bring behavioral changes on the society, and therefore enable the society to stand for the realization of these rights is vital.
