Wage gap! That's the first thing that popped into my head during your vlog...Why anyone marries is their own business (I did it for legal protections with my partner. Also, I love parties!), but this issue of women considering even marrying for money reminds me of how we're systematically shut out of earnings...
Check out this article from the Washington Post...It's a few years old, but if you go to this New York Times graph you'll see that much hasn't chaged. Women, on average, only earn 77 cents compared to a man's dollar, and for women of color specifically these numbers are lower.
