What is your test result? Are you taking advantage of the health faculties in your community region? World Aids Day opened our eyes to see the large population of HIV infected people around the world. Worlds Aid Day honored more than millions of AID epidemic people all over the world. The fight against HIV/AIDS is far from being over; researchers are steady researching new ways to fight against this deadly virus infection. However HIV can be preventable with the proper care, professional help, and health care assistance; but not cured!

The seasons have changed and more diseases are being formed, it is important to know where you stand with your life. Majority of the world has contacted this infection and every 9 1/2minutes another human being is infection with HIV. More than 10,000 people a year dead from AIDS in this country alone, and over 56,000 new virus infections are formed in this country alone. This holiday is a wonderful of the year to find of where you stand in your life. Help is here in every community, neighborhood, schoolhouse, church home and hospitals.

As young advocates for YWOC our goal is to prevent black college colored women from contacting HIV.  We successfully completed our goals towards preventing HIV on campus, by increasing sex awareness, raising condom usage by 30%, increasing comprehensive sex education by 20%, and empowering young women to bring their mates to get tested before having sex.

The Young Women of Color warn students to practice safe sex to prevent HIV and have self-control to avoid high risk behaviors! Sex is not safe in the Dark because HIV is a silent killer, and everything that looks good, is not good. Some pleasure comes with consequences and side effects. Be aware that people bodies carry diseases and infections; protect yourself, your own body, and your life.

Its very importatn to get your yearly check up immediately. The holidays are here and family is home so why not drop in a clinic for your life results. For help or assistance near you send a text message with your zip code to KNOWIT (566948) or visit www.hivtest.org.

The best Christmas or New Years gift you can ever get yourself is a negative test result.
