It all began at the age of 10, when she was in her JSS one (junior secondary school) she always had her way in everything owing to the fact that she was the first child and her parents where never at home.
Before she was 12 she had her first boyfriend and by 13 she had sex without any form of protection or contraceptive after some months she discovered she wasn’t pregnant and thought she was immune to pregnancy and turned sex to a habit, but things turned sour on this faithful day when she discovered she was pregnant and that her body had failed her.
She was advised by friends to take a drug prescribed for another illness after which she started bleeding profusely and several complications arose but fortunately for her she was given proper health care but the scars will always remain in her heart
This is just a story out of many others, what should be done? Should we be learning the hard way? Other than laying blames, we all have the responsibility to give correct and consistent information so we can all make informed decisions….The time is now………….
