A great day for GLTBQ rights: first Vermont, now D.C.

This morning, Vermont's state legislature overrode the Governor's veto of legislation allowing gay marriage in the state. And this afternoon, the District of Columbia Council voted to recognize same sex marriages in other states.

Along with Iowa ruling that their ban on same sex marriage is unconstitutional on Friday, this has been an amazing week for GLBTQ rights!
