Jon Stewart grills the Democrats for allowing abstinence-only funding to come back from the grave

The Daily Show's Jon Stewart absolutely hammered the Democratic Party and their supposed "Super-Majority" last night. Even though they have the White House and huge filibuster-proof majorities in Congress, they have so far failed to make any progress in reforming our broken healthcare system by creating a public option. 

But what have they made progress on? Oh right.... restoring funding for Title V abstinence-only programs.

And remember that in order to get rid of this awful amendment, we all need to contact our Senators and let them know that abstinence-only funding has got to go!

Thanks so much for posting this Joe! I was so glad to watch that and have someone else understand the level of frustration and annoyance I am having right now with the "Change" and "Hope" of this Congress and Administration. I mean I did not expect things to be perfect but why do I feel like I am really getting screwed over here? Abstinence only education.... seriously? Is this not the same Abstinence-Only education that spreads lies about HIV and condoms? Is this not the same program that has NOT been shown to delay teen sex initiation and teen pregnancy?
