What do you think about the Democrats allowing a block on insurance subsidies for abortions into the health care bill?
It is a terrible betrayal of reproductive health and rights
It was a necessary compromise to get the bill passed
We should be focusing on the positives in the bill
The abortion restriction will fail in the Senate

Growing up, no one really spoke to me and my young family members about the health issues that we should have learned about, so I want to give that young boy or girl that doesn't have someone to tell them about sex, STDs, and other health issues the opportunity to learn and be educated on these issues that they may one day face.

I love providing helpful and educating information to my peers. I believe seeing some things first hand gave me the passion for reaching out to others about health related issues that go on in their communities and even my own community. Working with Advocates for Youth will allow me to continue my journey of helping and educating my peers on important health issues that they need to know.

Growing up, no one really spoke to me and my young family members about the health issues that we should have learned about, so I want to give that young boy or girl that doesn't have someone to tell them about sex, STDs, and other health issues the opportunity to learn and be educated on these issues that they may one day face. And hopefully I can help reduce the chances of their acquiring STI or experiencing an unintended pregnancy.

I believe young people can contribute to the movement for adolescent reproductive and sexual health by taking responsibility, doing the right things, living a healthy lifestyle, and educating more young people to do the right things. I simply love discussing health issues and doing something to aid prevention efforts!
