How to post a Vlog

Step 1: Upload your video file to your computer.

(Note: if other people are featured in your video, you must have them fill out this release form)
 

Step 2: Create a profile on YouTube.

Go here to sign up: http://www.youtube.com/signup?next=/

Click on the email confirmation, then return to YouTube and sign in.
 

Step 3: Upload your video to YouTube

Go to this link, and upload your video file: http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_upload

It will take 10-15 minutes for YouTube to vet the video, but then it should be up and viewable.
 

Step 4: Post your video on your Amplify blog post

When you are writing your diary and want to post your vlog, click on the small “YouTube” button in the editor.

In the box that pops up, click on the tab that says “YouTube”

Now, go back to your video. Copy the “embed code” of your video, which should be on the right side of that screen.

Paste this embed code into the box on Amplify, and press “OK”

You should now have a box in your blog post with a red “F” inside it. Once you preview your post, your video should show up properly.

Step 5: In order to be eligible for our GACC Vlog contest, you must email us the following information:

1. Name, School, Location

2. Verify that any people featured in your video have filled out the release form and given it to you
