In the United States, one in 6 women is sexually assaulted in her lifetime, with college-age women four times as likely to be victimized. Internationally, the figure doubles -  up to one in three women experiences relationship or sexual violence in her lifetime.

  • In Sub-Saharan Africa up to half of women report regular abuse in their relationships.
  • Abuse is equally likely to happen in same-gender relationships as in heterosexual relationships.
Bring sexual and dating violence to an end. As a generation we will commit to open and honest communication; respect one another; and empower each other to stop dating and relationship violence issues in our communities and worldwide.
