Support Amplify

Amplify is a project of Advocates for Youth, a DC-based nonprofit dedicated to shifting the societal paradigm from one that demonizes youth and sexuality to one that truly values young people and accepts adolescent sexual development as normal and healthy.

But we can’t do it alone.

Advocates’ Youth Activist Network, 30,000 strong and growing every day, works to prevent teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections in the United States and developing countries by speaking out against policies that are harmful to young people. What’s more, each year, Advocates for Youth educates and trains more than 350 of these young people to serve as peer educators and sexual and reproductive health advocates.

§ $10, the cost of downloading just one more album from iTunes, will help provide a young person with advocacy training.

§ $25, the cost of a new book or DVD, will help support the work of a campus organization.

§ $50, the cost of dinner and a movie for two, will help us publish materials to educate young people about preventing teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, including HIV.

All donors of $10 or more will receive an Amplify tattoo while supplies last.

Making a donation online isn’t the only way to support the programs and work of Advocates for Youth. Click here to find out more about other ways to give.

Advocates for Youth relies on the generous financial support of individuals, foundations, and public and private institutions to ensure that young people in the United States and abroad have the resources necessary to make informed and responsible decisions about their reproductive and sexual health.

Whether you are a young person, activist, parent, educator, health care professional or policy maker, you can rest assured that your contribution to Advocates will make a real difference in the lives of young people in the United States and around the world.
